Victoria Brinemugha is currently in her 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University. In May 2015, she will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and Minor in Residential Construction degree, with a focus in mechanical systems. Ms. Victoria is an active member of a number of professional and student organizations including the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), American Society of Heating, Refrigerationg & Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE).
In the past year, Victoria interned with the Bozzuto Construction company. Bozzuto is an industry leader in residential construction (mid-atlantic region). During her time there, she brought valuable suggestions to team members using her critical thinking abilty. In the summer of 2014, she studied abroad in China visitng major cities and attending classes in two of the most pretigious univeristies around the world - Tsinghua University and Hong Kong University. These experiences provided her with valuable experience and insight into the design, coordination, and construction of a variety of building types.
Victoria passed the LEED Green Associate Exam this past January and will be taking the FE exam before the school year ends. In the short term, she looks forward to beginning work as a mechanical engineer for a consulting or AE firm to gain knowledge and practical experience in the mechanical engineering profession and to obtain her license as a Professional Engineer (PE).
